Adding Batch Group Access

Security groups assigned to batches determine which users have the ability to add transactions to those batches. Only users who belong to a security group assigned to a batch can access that batch. Users not belonging to a security group associated with the batch will not be able to view or access the batch.

Adding a Security Group to a Batch

To add a security group to a particular batch, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Batch group item to expand the list of group item links.
  2. Locate the batch you wish to add the security group to by using the Find Batch or List Batch option.
  3. Select a batch. from the list of batches.
  4. Click the Security tab in the child form section of the Batch Profile.
  5. Expand the batch group access. child form.
  6. Click the Add . icon.
  7. Expand the group name drop-down menu and select a security group to be added to the batch.
  8. Click the Save button. The new security group has been added to the batch.

Tips:
  • Click the Delete icon next to the name of a security group on the batch group access child form to remove access to the batch for that group.
  • Click the Edit icon next to the name of a security group on the batch group access child form to edit access to the batch for that group.
